What a weekend of bowls. Congratulations to all the winners involved with the Somerset West Bowling Club Personal Trust Classic 5’s competition.

The winner was only decided right at the end. After being top of the log for all 4 first rounds Gavin Carters team from Oakdale just could not manage to contain the team of Nick Louw

What a great way to start the season. The greens were full, the weather was great and the Season Opening day was planned beautifully.

A great time was had by all. Big thank you’s to the ladies in the kitchen, barmen, club decorators.

Was great seeing the club full of people enjoying a fun afternoon.

On Saturday 8th September we celebrated the spirit of the club with an amazing prize giving and dinner. What a beautiful day. As usual the club pulled together in an amazing way to pull of a very successful afternoon of bowls and prize giving with a delicious dinner.

We are proud to congratulate Vera Van Wyk (Veterans) and Leonis Taljaard (Open) on being selected to attend the WP trials.

We are delighted to be able break the news that Bradwin Present has been selected to play for the WP under 30’s team.  The team will  participate in the 2018 U30 Inter-District Championship to be held from the 23rd  26th September 2018 in Pietermaritzburg.

What a wonderful evening tasting Bonnievale’s wonderful wines complemented by some very tasty snacks provided by several of the ladies in the club.  The clubhouse was full and it and there was a pleasant happy vibe with music playing in the background.
